Blanca Escudero Fontán is a Research Assistant at University College Cork, where she has worked on multiple projects, including the North-South Critical Epistemologies Across Borders Project and in the Deputy President and Registrar's Office. She is also a co-convenor of a research-based cluster on Violence, Conflict, and Gender. 

With a background in Translation and Interpretation (Galician-English) and two Master’s degrees in Law (International Law and EU Law), she has developed an active research interest in gender-related issues. Her work is informed by feminist approaches to hosting and facilitating, as well as inclusion and diversity in education.
